Ben Rice is one in every of them, as he basically grew to become nothing however a DH after the workforce acquired fellow first baseman Luis García Jr. forward of the commerce deadline. Aaron Choose might additionally profit from extra DH days after his personal injury-plagued marketing campaign. Whereas the expectation is that he’ll nonetheless spend most of his time in proper discipline, Choose goes to be 35 in April and solely performed in 66 video games this yr.”
The claims of Rice and Choose needing time at DH would finish Stanton’s possibilities of being an on a regular basis hitter.
