Extra on Tsung-Che Cheng’s 2026 Season
Tsung-Che Cheng carries a lifetime batting common of .217 over 46 at-bats.
His profession OPS+ is 47.
MLBTR.com’s Anthony Franco detailed Che Cheng’s finish to the 2026 marketing campaign:
“The 25-year-old Cheng spent the rest of the season on non-obligatory task to Triple-A Worcester. He posted a league common .241/.345/.390 slash with eight residence runs. Cheng hardly ever expanded the strike zone and walked at a powerful 14% clip. He struck out at a barely elevated 24% price and didn’t hit the ball with a lot authority. Prospect evaluators have typically praised his plate self-discipline and strong defensive chops across the infield, projecting him as a utility piece. He’s out of minor league choices and can battle for a bench job in Detroit if he holds his 40-man spot all offseason.”
