Justin Turner with the Blue Jays
Even in his age-39 season, Justin Turner proved that he nonetheless has some productiveness left within the tank whereas he was with the Blue Jays.

If Toronto determined to convey him again on a reunion deal, it might be a league-minimum deal, and Turner would serve purely as a platoon batter.
MLBTR.com’s Nick Deeds outlined Turner being a free agent by writing (in November, 2025):
“As Turner nears his forty first birthday, he hasn’t indicated a method or one other what his plans are for the longer term. If he seems to proceed his enjoying profession, it’s not onerous to think about a group valuing his expertise and management within the clubhouse sufficient to offer him an invite to Spring Coaching and permit him to compete for a bench position regardless of his tough 2025 marketing campaign. With that being mentioned, a giant league assure on the extent he acquired final offseason is difficult to think about, and he’d principally solely match on a roster that struggles badly on the plate in opposition to southpaws.”
