The Arizona Diamondbacks have been coming off of a stunning World Collection run in 2023 as they entered the 2024 season.
The Diamondbacks then missed the postseason after ending with a document of 89-73.
They entered this offseason with the objective of getting again into the playoffs, and so they made a commerce with the Cleveland Guardians to amass first baseman Josh Naylor.

Yates is a 37-year-old veteran who has performed 10 MLB seasons.
After his debut with the Tampa Bay Rays, Yates has performed for six groups in his profession.
In 2024 with the Texas Rangers, Yates appeared in 61 video games and posted a document of 7-2 with a 1.17 ERA, 33 saves and 85 strikeouts in 61.2 innings pitched.
It was the bottom ERA of his profession and his second-highest save complete.
That proved he nonetheless has the stuff to be efficient, and the Diamondbacks may benefit from his skills.
Although the Diamondbacks appeared within the World Collection simply two seasons in the past, that was their solely playoff look since 2017.
Yates can be a reputation to bear in mind as Arizona builds its roster for the 2025 season.
